'The opportunity is so flexible: residency, retreat, ambisonic recording studio. It also has elements of a cultural and creative exchange: being able to spend time with other artists / musicians (as well as having completely separate accommodation). I felt safe here in every way: communication is really important to me, and here it was clear and easy. John & Pinkie were so generous and kind, and their joy at living here and being able to offer this resource is so apparent. The equipment John offers is very congruent with the location – I felt myself as part of the environment, playing softly with the birds, and listening under the soil with the probe mic: deeply grounding and healing experiences.'
